The Jungle Fun Run was the event at Marmot Basin and naturally participants got glammed up -- not me, of course -- but the people interested in going for a ski. Jasper the Bear showed up with Mr. Gay Canada at the top of the hill for the race. I took the easy way up on a Skidoo and we captured all the action.

Once everybody was at the bottom of the hill we had a barbecue and a few drinks and then the dancing started. That's right, we made a scene. We were doing the YMCA, there was some Barbie Girl... and maybe even some moonwalking.

Then I was told I was getting a ski lesson. Heart raced a little but it wasn't so bad -- I thought, anyway.
