Jeremy was my instructor. Like a lot of people working in Jasper, Jezz, as he's known at Marmot, is from Europe. Thinking I would take a couple falls going on the little hill, I was surprised that I didn't take one tumble in the nearly two hours we were on skis. It took a little work and had there been a bit more time in the day I would have considered going on one of the practice runs, however the slopes were closing for the day and I didn't get the opportunity.

I didn't realize that such a tiny dog would be used on avalanche rescues but it is interesting to hear how they train dogs. An interesting moment just as we were wrapping up the segment: a young boy came flying towards us and crashed into the orange netting. Listen for that interesting live radio moment.
