At the beautiful Jasper Park Lodge, I couldn't resist hopping on the big bear for a photo opp. And the breathtaking views of the region are remarkable. There might only be two major streets in town but there is certainly a lot to see indoors and outdoors. And at Fairmont's JPL, outdoors includes a nice outdoor pool overlooking the mountains.

As is tradition when we do our on-location broadcasts, I had to swing by a local KFC. In Jasper, it is THE KFC as there is only one. And after all the crazy calorie-burning activities, I needed some deep-fried grease!

On our last day of the trip I visit the spa at Fairmont's Jasper Park Lodge. It was a great experience until the fire alarm sounded and there was awkwardness as I laid in the treatment room naked. Yup, nothing kills relaxation than the panic of possibly needing to evacuate in an emergency.
